How to Make Candle At Home: A Step-by Step Guide

Looking for ways to make candle at home? Then, you've come to the right place. Here are 4 simple steps for you:

Step 1: Prepare the supplies

Beside your candle making kit, you’ll need a wax melter, jug, and thermometer. Cover your work area with newspapers or towel papers.

Step 2: Melt the wax

Melt the wax slowly at a recommended heat range of 50-52 degrees. After all the wax is completely melted, add fragrance oil and mix well to ensure it’s evenly distributed.

Step 3: Pour wax into coconut bowl - Don’t fill me up buttercup.

Let the wax cool in a few minutes and pour it into your coconut bowl. Ensure the wick stays nice and centered while the wax sets and hardens.

Very Important: Ensure you don’t fill these babies to the top. Leave at least 2cm at the top to ensure the open flame is protected and you have room to add decorative elements. We love to set intentions with crystals placed on top or add the petals of your favourite flowers.

Step 4: Let cool and trim wick

Leave your candle for at least 6 hours and then trim the wick using sharp scissors or a wick trimmer. Allow 3 days for the candles to cure before burning.

Relax, recharge and enjoy.
